The Trust would like to thank its many donors , large and small, for helping it to cross one million pounds within six months. All of this money is going towards the creation and installation of the Mahatma Gandhi statue at Parliament Square. And soon the Mahatma’s statue will be unveiled by UK Prime Minister David Cameron and India’s Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on 14th March, 2015 in London. MAHATMA GANDHI’S STATUE

The sculpture of Mahatma Gandhi was unveiled on March 14 , by Indian Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley, in the presence of the UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Indian film star, Amitabh Bachchan, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Gopalkrishna Gandhi, Lord and Lady Desai and many other dignitaries , trustees and donors, including Mr Narayana Murthy, Ms Akshata Murty, Mr Lakshmi Mittal, Mr Aditya Mittal, Mr Rahul Bajaj, Mr Rami Ranger, Mr Vivek Chadha, Mr Deepak Yadav, Mohit Joshi, Lord Peter Goldsmith, Carsten Jorgensen…among many others.
